Price List For Articles, Short Stories, Novels

Proofreading:	Includes grammar, punctuation, typos, and spelling errors, $2.50 per manuscript page.*
Edit:	Includes proofreading, plus a check for content errors, proper manuscript format, "showing vs. telling," and point of view, $4.00 per manuscript page.*
Edit Plus:	Includes all of the above, plus an in-depth, detailed written critique of the work, designed to assist the author in polishing the work before submitting it for publication, $6.50 per manuscript page.*
Critique Only:	As described above, $2.50 per manuscript page.*
Proofread Plus Critique:	$5.00 per manuscript page.*

Price List For Poetry

Combined Proofread and Edit, plus a short critique:

$20 per poem, maximum length 40 lines; 50 cents each additional line.

For chapbooks or anthologies please e-mail Paula for a price quote. State the total number of poems and the average length of each.

* Manuscript page is defined as the standard, 23-line, double-spaced page (NO 1.5 SPACING PLEASE!), 1" margins all around, text typed in 12 pt. Times New Roman or Courier New font, with an average of 250-300 words per page. New chapters must begin halfway down the following page. (For more detailed information, see Proper Manuscript Format.) Partial pages will count as one full page.

Upon completion of the proofread, critique, or edit, Pro-Edits cannot guarantee publication of any work written by the author.

Note: Prices cover first reads only. For second reads, the price is negotiable.
